SF Bulls at HP Dec 17: That was fun

04 December 2012 - 01:51 PM

Thunder @ Bulls Jan 16 game moved to Dec 17 at HP.  I need some help understanding this paragraph from the Bulls website:

Quote

SF Bulls full season ticket package holders will be contacted shortly about receiving their free ticket to the game at HP Pavilion. Detailed information on obtaining tickets for Bulls and Sharks season ticket holders will be e-mailed directly very soon. Complimentary tickets for the general public that can be printed at home will be made available, space permitting, at ticketmaster.com, beginning on Wednesday, December 12 at 10 am. All guests MUST have a ticket to enter the building. Parking for the event is free for all attendees on a first-come first-served basis in HP Pavilion-controlled parking.

Now, I could swear that underlined sentence means anyone can get free tickets.  But if that is true, why would they go on about season ticket holders getting free tickets (which isn't really true if they already paid for the Jan 16 game, but...)?

Also, free parking?  Holy cow.

GDT SF Bulls, whenever

Cuz it's hockey. And Viedensky is tearing up the ECHL on behalf of the Bulls. Can the Bulls win four in a row?  What do you think of their new D coach?  I know he's a particular favorite of Pimp's.

Good place to start here:

Great Blog post by George Malik on the upcoming labor negotiations:

Smart, smart, smart. At least from this biased NHLPA supporter’s perspective. As Paul noted, the NHL and NHLPA will kick off CBA negotiations in New York, NY on Friday…

But before doing so, Comcast Sportsnet Chicago’s Chris Boden reports that they’ll name a 30-player negotiating committee aft the close of their three-day executive board meetings in Chicago, and equally intelligently, they’ve scheduled meetings all over the world up to speed, with Boden and NHL.com’s Brian Hedger stating that the meetings are scheduled to take place in Toronto, Ontario, (for Eastern Canadians and Americans), Kelowna, British Columbia (for the players who spend their summers in Western Canada or the Western U.S.), Moscow (for Russian players), Barcelona, Spain (for players from the rest of Europe) and another meeting in Chicago as well (cue the Midwesterners).

Odd seeing SJ reps are 3 guys we (?) don't expect to be Sharks next season. (Murray, Moore, Winnik) How are the reps selected, by team or league-wide vote?
